Hi, I’m Melissa

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping people connect with their sense of self and inner trust. I work with teens, adults, and families, supporting them in navigating life’s complexities with greater self-awareness and compassion. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, with an emphasis on the profound impact of early experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns on our present lives.

I believe that therapy isn’t just about symptom relief—it’s about creating space to understand the deeper layers of your emotional world. Many of us were taught to suppress difficult feelings, to "move on" without truly addressing what’s beneath the surface. My work invites you to slow down, listen inward, and become curious about your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, we’ll explore the roots of these patterns, fostering insight that can lead to meaningful change and growth.

With warmth and cultural humility, I create a therapeutic environment where all parts of you are welcome. My practice is trauma-informed, affirming of LGBTQ+ identities, and culturally responsive. I draw from my training in Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT) and dream analysis to support clients in accessing deeper layers of consciousness when appropriate. Whether through traditional talk therapy or integrative approaches, my goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself and your life.

I believe healing is not linear and that courage lies in showing up for yourself, even when it’s hard. You deserve to feel seen, supported, and whole. If you’re curious about working together, please reach out—I’d be honored to accompany you on your journey.

    Individuals

Life’s challenges can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. In therapy, we create a supportive, non-judgmental space together to explore your inner world, untangle old patterns, and deepen your connection with yourself. Through a psychodynamic approach, we can make sense of how past experiences shape the present while fostering growth, resilience, and a stronger sense of self-trust. This work is a collaborative, dynamic process that honors your unique journey and evolving needs

    Relationships

Our relationships shape us, and their impact can be profound. In therapy, we create space to explore the patterns and emotions that arise in connection with others—whether with your partner(s), family, friend, or another important person in your life. Together, we work toward deeper understanding, clearer communication, and more fulfilling relationships. This isn’t just for intimate partners; it’s for anyone looking to navigate relationships with greater awareness and care.

    Psychedelic Integration

A powerful psychedelic experience can bring profound insights, and without support, those realizations can feel fleeting or difficult to make sense of. In psychedelic integration therapy, we work together to process and apply what emerged in your journey—whether it was transformative, confusing, or challenging. Through reflection and exploration, we find ways to integrate these experiences into daily life in a way that supports growth, clarity, and lasting change.

“Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing. We think that the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy.”
